Animal Crossing Will Debut New Villager Plushies This Year
Nintendo will be releasing five new official Animal Crossing: New Horizons plushies later this year, including popular characters like Judy and Marshal. Animal Crossing is well known for its impressively large cast of unique characters. With hundreds of individual villagers, such as Marshal, Lucky, and Raymond, Nintendo has taken many opportunities to celebrate the unique cast of the games.
Animal Crossing has a surprising amount of merchandise players can buy to wear or decorate with. Currently, fans can find clothes, bags, mugs, pins, keychains, Amiibos, Nendoroid figurines, Funko Pops, plates, stickers, stationary, and many more official items both online and in many major retail stores. While there are over 400 villagers to befriend as of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the characters most likely to appear on official merchandise are actually a handful of NPCs. This includes Isabelle, Tom Nook, and K.K. Slider primarily.

However, Nintendo will finally be releasing another collection of high-quality Animal Crossing plushies in 2022, adding fresh faces to the mix of available options. The new plushies will be of five villagers available in Animal Crossing: New Horizons: Dom, Judy, Marshal, Molly, and Audie. As reported by Animal Crossing World, the plushies are being developed by a Japanese manufacturer called Senei. The company has worked with Nintendo previously, and created last year's Animal Crossing plushie collection consisting of Gulliver, Blathers, Celeste, Pascal, Flick, and C.J. This release, called the «All Star Collection», features popular favorites from both New Horizons and New Leaf.
